We are be operating our evening service Wednesday-Sunday from 5pm-9:30pm. Bookings can be made through DishCult or through the calendar below.

Bookings are taken for 30 days in advance, a new day is added every day. We accept walk ins for the terrace on a first come first serve basis.

Groups of 6+ Adults

Our €45pp sharing menu is the exclusive dining option for groups of 6 adults or more but is also available to tables of two or more.

We have a standby list in place within the calendar, if a table becomes free at your chosen time you will receive a notification and link to book. This notification does not confirm your booking or hold your table.

Pizza for collection can be booked through the link above and collected from Strawberry Hall at the bar or Castleknock.

A few points to keep in mind. A lot of hard work has gone into creating this space and we would like to keep it looking great.

Cancellation Policy

A card is required to secure your reservation. No payment will be taken at the time of booking.

Cancellations or amendments can be made free of charge at least 24 hours before your reservation. Cancellations made within 24 hours, or failure to attend, may incur a €20 per person cancellation fee.

Why every table matters

We’ve been blown away by your support so far. Seeing our small, independent, 26-seat restaurant so busy means so much to us.

We regularly have large standby lists, but last-minute cancellations often leave too little time for those waiting to make arrangements. Even with demand for tables, we can be left looking at empty seats that should have been full.

By that point, fresh ingredients have been ordered, food has been prepared and our team’s hours are committed. Those costs still need to be paid. With just 26 seats, losing even a few bookings has a significant impact, and repeated losses can threaten the future of a small restaurant.

We understand that plans change. We would much rather welcome you than charge a cancellation fee, and we want to avoid any uncomfortable conversations about charges. That’s why we explain our policy in advance and ask everyone to respect it. The fee helps cover some of the costs already committed to your booking and supports us in looking after our team.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please use the link in your booking confirmation or contact us as early as possible. Giving at least 24 hours’ notice gives us the best chance of offering your table to someone waiting.

Little Gruffs

Parents with babies and young kids, you are very welcome to bring them to Goats Gruff. We must insist that Little Gruffs remain seated at all times. Do not allow little ones to climb or jump on furniture, or handle mirrors or displays.

We love kids and value families, we will be focusing on seating families early in our evening service from 5pm with the last available time for kids under 12 at 6:30.

We do not have space for high chairs however if you have a car seat and let us know in advance we can seat you on the couch.

Dogs at Goats Gruff

Dogs are very welcome to join you on our terrace. They can accompany you inside while you place your order, but we kindly ask that all doggos remain outdoors while you eat or drink.

Dogs must be kept on a lead and off all furniture at all times.
